Privacy
The short version: we collect what you type into our demo form, and — only if you accept cookies — which pages you read before you sent it. Nothing else.
What we collect
When you ask for a demo. The form collects your first and last name, company, job title, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field. All seven are things you choose to type; we do not enrich them from other sources or buy data about you.
If you accept analytics cookies. HubSpot's tracking script records which pages you visit on this site and links them to your demo request if you send one, so we can tell which of our articles people find useful. Google Analytics measures the same visits for site statistics. Decline and neither script loads — see cookies.
Spam protection. Submitting the form sends a Google reCAPTCHA token to Google for verification. Google receives your IP address as part of that check.
We do not collect anything from visitors who only read the site and decline cookies.
Why, and on what basis
- Demo requestsTo reply to you and arrange the demo. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- AnalyticsTo understand which content leads to enquiries. Legal basis: your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner and can change at any time.
- Spam protectionTo stop bots submitting the form. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
Who else sees it
Three processors, each doing one job:
- HubSpotOur CRM. Demo requests are stored here, and analytics data if you consented. HubSpot, Inc. is based in the United States.
- SheetDBA spreadsheet backup of demo requests, kept during our move to HubSpot and being retired.
- GooglereCAPTCHA when you submit the form, and — only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics page measurement.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time without affecting anything that happened before.
Email privacy@systemearth.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Four things are not settled and are deliberately left blank rather than guessed at: the legal entity and registered address acting as data controller; whether an EU representative is required under Article 27 GDPR; how long we keep demo requests that do not become customers; and the transfer mechanism covering EU personal data sent to HubSpot in the United States.
Everything above this section describes what the site actually does today and has been checked against the code.
